ABOUT LAUNCH SCHOOL OF EVANGELISM

Launch School of Evangelism is a cohort of School of Urban Missions, which is a fully accredited Bible College that is training men and women to proclaim Christ throughout the cities of our world! While preparing for ministry at Launch, you will receive academic excellence, practical hands-on ministry, and transformational mentorship.

Launch School of Evangelism offers an affordable three-year program that allows you to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with the following fivefold ministry concentrations: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. In addition, the school is only 1-2 days a week and set into 11 week semesters. Since the school is accredited, you can also apply for a pell-grant/government loan and/or assistance!

*What sets us apart from other schools is our focus on the Evangelist/Prophet/Church Planter. AND~ anything over 10 credit hours per semester is FREE! The typical student earns 14 credit hours per semester, so 4 of them are totally free.

TEN EASY STEPS TO APPLY!

The application process is just the beginning of a lifelong journey of adventure and fulfilled destiny.
Each prospective student must complete the following before an entrance interview can be scheduled. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

  1. A Completed SUM General Application (www.sum.edu/cohorts/texas-waxahachie)
  2. Pastor’s Reference Form
  3. General Reference Form
  4. Educator’s Reference Form (M.A. Degree Only)
  5. Official High school Transcripts or proof of GED
  6. Two separate 1-Page Essays – Essay #1 should be a 1-page typed Testimony answering three questions: How did I become a Christian? How am I currently serving in my home church? And upon graduating from SUM, where do I feel the Lord is leading me? – Essay #2 should be a 1-page typed essay answering the following question: According to the New Testament, how did Jesus lead?

  10. Read SUM Doctrinal Statement & Course Catalog prior to Entrance Interview

The school is located in Waxahachie at the campgrounds of the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. Joe Oden is the Visionary Leader, and the Co-Visionary Leaders include Sam Farina and Joel Stockstill.
